History

Bookworm originally opened in the 70s by Karol Phillips and her mom. Karol retired in 2015, and 3 sisters bought the store. We have had a wonderful 3 years! In the summer of 2017, we made the big move into Downtown Elkhart. We love being downtown, surrounded by other businesses, and able to participate in downtown events!

Specialties

Bookworm has mostly used books. We offer a huge variety of genres - general fiction, romance, westerns, paranormal romance, sci-fi, fantasy, mystery, children's, cookbooks, and lots of non fiction as well!

Nice local book shop. Friendly and helpful staff. When you visit, be sure to check out all the areas. There's a nice variety throughout. I enjoyed finding a few old gems even in the basement.
