History
Academic Edge, Inc. began as a tutoring and test preparation service in Lexington, Ky. Over time, the company's activities grew to include running a local school, school consultation services, and, around 1990, participation in federally funded research efforts to design, develop, and evaluate educational technology programming, especially related to health and social well-being. These efforts grew markedly over the ensuing decades and led to the formation of the stand-alone Research & Development division in Bloomington, Indiana. Academic Edge's R&D division provides research and development consultation services to major corporations, small businesses, and universities, and we continue to conduct large scale, multi-year research efforts with federal partners, including the National Institutes of Health and Centers for Disease Control. Academic Edge continues to provide school consultation, especially literacy and reading, out of its Kentucky offices. How can we help you?
