Company & History Swiss Labs is a small, privately owned, screw machine shop (Swiss/CNC) that is located in central Indiana. Swiss Labs Machine & Engineering was founded and incorporated in April of 2004. Due to the growth of the business over the past few years, we were able to construct a 10, 000 sq.ft. facility, with enough acreage to double in size when needed. We began production in the new facility in December of 2009. Swiss Labs Machine & Engineering specializes in RF/microwave connector components and has been certified to the ISO 9001-2008 standard. Our products range from, but are not limited to, center contacts and bodies, as well as hardware items, such as hex-nuts (with or without lockwire holes) and crimp ferrules. We currently have (8) Citizen L20 Swiss type turning centers that have the capability of handling diameters as small as.010" and as large as.812". All of our equipment has back-working capabilities and live tooling which allow us to drop parts complete. These two features enable us to eliminate any secondary operations, thus allowing us to remain very competitive, especially at higher volumes. Coupled with our machining capabilities, we also work closely with a local electroplater that not only supplies us with plated parts but also has the capability to perform passivation, heat treating and annealing operations (No zone annealing). Utilizing this service package allows us to provide complete, ready to assemble components at competitive prices. We currently run (3) full shifts, 5-6 days a week but have the capability of running unattended on certain design specific or geometrically specific components.
