Our Company was originally founded in 1967 and was then known as Rolling-Kleen . Rolling-Kleen was a joint venture by my father, Thomas Schaffstein and his brother in law Alexander Pichel. The Company offered window cleaning, trash service and heavy equipment painting, steam cleaning and sand blasting. During the late 60's, we were the only company offering these types of on site services in the United States. In 1972, my father, Tom bought out Alexander Pichel's share of the business and changing the name to Truck Clean, Inc The Company continued to grow, offering semi tractor and trailer refurbishing and structural steel coatings. In the Fall of 1983, a fire burned down half of the building located on 9th Avenue. By 1984, the building had been rebuilt and was reopened for business. From 1992 thru 2002, we sandblasted blue jeans, putting patterns on them and making them look worn out . Thomas Schaffstein passed away in April 2006. Looking back thru the years, the entire Schaffstein family had become involved in the business. In July 2006 the business was purchased by Alan Schaffstein changing the name to Schaffstein's Truck Clean, LLC. Schaffstein's Leasing, Inc mainly supports the shop by offering pick up and delivery options for customer's equipment throughout the US and Canada. Schaffstein's Truck Clean, LLC has a 40 year relationship with Dupont using a wide variety of products and is Dupont's largest independent fleet centers in the United States. We also create and install fleet and custom graphics. Contact Schaffstein's Truck Clean today to see how we can keep your company looking its best - from every angle.
