Founded in 1890, Richmond State Hospital, formerly known as Eastern Indiana Hospital, is a public behavioral health facility operated by the state of Indiana. It provides psychiatric and chemical dependency treatment solutions for adolescents, adults and geriatric patients. The hospital offers rehabilitative services that include recreational, music and occupational therapies.
