Located in New Albany, Ind., Rauch provides educational services for children with developmental disabilities. Founded in 1953, Rauch serves more than 650 children, adults and families in the southern Indiana community from various sites, including the Rauch Center, ACCESS, Rauch Industries, Work One Center and Another Place to Create. ACCESS, a division of Rauch, is a community support program that assists individuals in making decisions and helps them in becoming more independent. The organization s assistive technology services includes consultations, evaluations, maintenance, training, referrals and long-term assistance. Its beneficiary services program provides access to financial and life management services for elderly and disabled persons in Clark and Floyd counties in Indiana. Rauch Industries offers a variety of services, including sheltered and competitive work opportunities, service coordination, subcontract manufacturing, referrals, vocational training and crisis intervention. Rauch is affiliated with the Indiana Association of Rehabilitation Facilities, Metro United Way and The Rehabilitation Accreditation Commission.
