Nathaniel Lee, MD is a board-certified general surgeon and a specialty trained surgical oncologist. He practices with the hepatobiliary surgical cancer care team, specializing in liver, biliary and pancreatic surgery. His additional surgical interests include gastric cancers, GIST, neuroendocrine tumors, adrenal masses including pheochromocytomas, abdominal and retroperitoneal masses. He has additional training in soft-tissue sarcoma and high-risk skin malignancies, including melanoma. Dr. Lee offers robotic surgery, a less invasive approach, to patients when appropriate. Dr. Lee completed medical school at West Virginia University School of Medicine, followed by surgical residency and a research fellowship at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond. He completed specialty training in complex general surgical oncology at the John Wayne Cancer Institute in Santa Monica, CA. When he is not taking care of patients in the clinic or at the hospital, Dr. Lee and his wife enjoy spending as much time as possible outdoors, whether hiking, camping, or just enjoying the fresh air on a patio.
