History
Muncie Music Center has been serving musicians, students, band programs, and all of the like in the East Central Indiana area for over 75 years. We are a privately owned, independent business and have been in the hands of only 3 families through the years, 2 of which were related by marriage! The store was originally located in a historic building in downtown Muncie before moving to a custom-built location just a few blocks away in the 1960s. After continuous growth and expansion, it was necessary to once again design a new, custom-built location for the store in 2013, also in the Downtown Muncie area. We are still focused on growing and hope to be around for another 75+ years to come!

We are a brick and mortar retail music industry store that stocks electric and acoustic guitars and amps, drum sets and percussion, keyboards, synthesizers, and digital pianos, pa speakers, power amps, and mixers, sheet music, recording gear, microphones, accessories, and much more! We specialize in school band program servicing and visit over 65 schools each week to do onsite repairs, deliver and take orders, and assure our clients needs are met! We offer band instruments to the students of our schools in the form of Rent-to-Own agreements at very reasonable price points as well as remain very flexible with our customers through the process. We have a full service band instrument repair shop and also offer many acoustic instrument repair services as well. Our music education center is staffed with quality instructors and covers lessons on nearly every instrument. Audio, video, and lighting installation is another area of business in which we offer the installation and training of equipment in auditoriums, gymnasiums, sanctuaries, conference rooms, sporting fields, building exteriors, and many other environments. Lastly, we have an in-house recording studio that offers services including recording, editing, mixing, mastering, music composition, commercial recordings, video recording, and other music studio production services. We do our absolute best to meet the needs and expectations of any one who is searching for the products and services we have available.
