Established in 1904, The Mishawaka Fire Department protects the citizens and property from fire disasters. The department offers services, such as fire suppression, fire prevention, fire investigation, emergency medical, hazardous materials, education, water rescue and confined space rescue. Located in Mishawaka, Ind., the fire vehicles carry oxygen, first aid equipment and semi-automatic defibrillators for cardiac emergencies. The Fire Prevention Bureau also provides training programs and fire safety education programs for individuals. The Mishawaka Fire Department is a part of the city of Mishawaka.
