The Jasper Volunteer Fire Department is a full-service public safety organization that provides fire suppression and prevention, rescue and public education services. The department works to protect lives, properties and the environment from the threats and occurrences of emergencies. It uses a variety of equipment, including fire suppression and rescue vehicles and tools. In addition, the department organizes a range of youth and special programs that helps and assists the public in fire and medical emergency situations. The department employs more than 40 volunteer members. The Jasper Volunteer Fire Department is located in Jasper, Ind.
