HistoryThe Cardinal Insurance Agency is an independent agency that has operated since 1955, when it was founded by Kenneth G. Wheeler. The Agency was started in his home with his wife, Nora, as his secretary. The Agency was built on providing honest advice, and service. Together with simple word of mouth, and relationships with various community groups the agency grew. In the spring of 1986, Ken's oldest son, Kevin started to work at the Agency as an agent, and system coordinator, and eventually office manager. Prior to working in the family business, Kevin had been managing an agricultural trade show, Farm Progress Show. In his spare time he also taught flying lessons.
