The Indy Public Safety Foundation (IPSF) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to enhancing the safety and quality of life in the greater Indianapolis community. By leveraging individual and business contributions, IPSF strategically supports outcomes-based, community-driven efforts to address public safety issues and provide much-needed equipment and services for the Indianapolis Fire Department (IFD), Indianapolis Metro Police Department (IMPD), and Indianapolis Emergency Medical Services (IEMS).
With over 3,200 men and women serving as part of these public safety organizations, IPSF works tirelessly to raise funds that fall outside of annual departmental budgets, making a positive impact for both first responders and the community as a whole. Led by dedicated leaders such as Chief Ernest V. Malone of IFD, Chief Bryan K. Roach of IMPD, and Chief Dr. Charles Miramonti of IEMS, these agencies strive to protect life and property, enforce laws, and respond to emergency situations, ensuring the safety and well-being of Indianapolis residents.
