Founded in 1997, the Indiana Developmental Training Center, also known as IDTC, provides intensive specialized residential treatment for children, adolescents and young adults. The center also offers individualized treatment services. It serves more than 200 children suffering with autism spectrum, pervasive developmental and attention deficit hyperactivity disorders. The Indiana Developmental Training Center additionally serves individuals with Kleine-Levin, Klinefelter, Lennox-Gastaut, Marfan's and Smith-McGinnis syndromes. The center provides social, support, and health and youth care services. It maintains open residential treatment, intensive treatment needs and private secure units. The Indiana Developmental Training Center operates a school for emotionally, physically and developmentally challenged students. The center maintains over five children's group homes for children between the ages of 6 and 21. These homes are licensed by the State of Indiana Family and Social Services Administration.
