Hometown Thrift is operated by the City Outreach Foundation in Hammond, Indiana. City Outreach is a non-profit organization that helps at-risk, addicted, and abandoned children, teenagers, and adults in the Chicagoland area. Hometown Thrift is the primary source of income for our organization. All revenues go to finance 4 entities. City Baptist School....a K5-12 school designed specifically for the needs of inner-city children in Chicago. The Better Roads Ahead Recovery Ministry...a men's home and ladies home for adults battling substance abuse. The Hammond City Rescue Mission.
