History, RBS Design Group has been providing award-winning architectural services to clients in Kentucky, Indiana, and Tennessee from our central location in Owensboro, Kentucky. What started as Otto M. Ranney, Architect, became Ranney and Blake Architects after a partnership was formed with Architect Terry Blake in 1979. In 1984, Ranney and Blake merged with Strehl Engineering and the name was changed to Ranney, Blake and Strehl, Architecture and Engineering. In 1995, Michael Ranney joined the partnership and later that year Ranney, Blake and Strehl merged with Ivy/Thomas and became RBS Design Group, P.S.C. In 2006, founder Otto M. Ranney retired, followed by Terry Blake's retirement in 2008.SpecialtiesRBS Design Group Architecture, has been providing architectural services since 1978.
