Hendricks Regional Health Center, headquartered in Danville, Ind., is a nonprofit, county-owned health care organization that serves residents of the western suburbs of Indianapolis. Founded in 1962, the health center offers services, including cardiac rehabilitation, cardiology, a child birth center, emergency department, a mental health unit, an intensive care unit, neurodiagnostic services, nutrition services, physical and occupational therapy, radiology, sports medicine, sleep testing and speech therapy. Hendricks Regional Health has earned accreditation by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations and is licensed by the Indiana State Department of Health. It also operates health care facilities in Avon, Brownsburg and Plainfield, Ind. The Avon facility has a cancer treatment program and a surgery center.
