Established in 1971, Hamilton Center is a regional, behavioral health system that serves more than 10,000 children, adults and families annually in Indiana. With a staff of over 600 employees, the center offers specialized programs for expectant women and serves individuals with drug and alcohol problems. It provides counseling services for depression and anxiety disorders. Hamilton Center offers individual and group therapies and 24-hour crisis intervention and case management services. It operates an adult psychiatric inpatient unit that is licensed by the Indiana Division of Mental Health and Addiction. It works with various educational institutions, health and human services organizations, and state and county agencies to provide day treatment and foster care services for adolescents. The center additionally offers vocational training and rehabilitative services. Hamilton Center is accredited by The Joint Commission and the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities.
