The Gibson County Jail is a detention facility that holds male offenders. The jail s more than 32,000-square-foot facility was constructed in 1988. Its steel and concrete facility contains over 100 beds in cell blocks. The Gibson County Jail features padded, isolation and detoxification cell. The jail is a part of the Corrections Division of the Gibson County Sheriff's Department, which is administered by Gibson County in Indiana. In addition, it has a holding cell and clothing storage room. The Gibson County Jail offers a range of indoor and outdoor recreational activities.
