Dr. Farahan completed her bachelor’s degree in human communication sciences at Northwestern University. She has a master’s degree in biological sciences from Purdue University and completed her medical degree at the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology in Haifa, Israel, where she graduated with high honors. She completed her pediatric residency and was subsequently chief resident at Maimonides Infant and Children’s Hospital in Brooklyn, NY. Dr. Farahan previously worked at one of the resident training programs in Indianapolis and won several teaching awards in her time there. As a board-certified pediatrician, Dr. Farahan has a special interest in preventive care. She is also fluent in Spanish. Dr. Farahan is the mother of three children, who keep her busy with travel soccer. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, travel with her family and reading
