Fox Products is a manufacturer of musical instruments, including bassoons, contrabassoons, oboes and English horns. The company also manufactures reeds, bocals and instrument cases. Fox Products maintains repair facilities for the instruments it has made. Repair services include complete service, repad, complete overhaul and restoration. The concept of Fox Products began in founder Hugo Fox s imagination sometime between 1922 and 1949, while he was the principal bassoonist of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. He founded his company is South Whitley, Ind., during the summer of 1949. The company's first bassoon was completed in 1951. Fox instruments are sold nationwide through a dealer network.
