HistoryLynnhurst Church began serving south Louisville over 150 years ago. As the demographics of our neighborhood have changed rapidly in the last fifty years, so has the congregation. We currently share space with a Baptist congregation from Burma, and an Evangelical Friends Church (Quaker) from Burundi. A self-employed social worker, a local boy scout troop, as well as other organizations regularly rent our building space. We also will begin hosting a Narcotics Anonymous support group in September 2015. We value the ways we can support good work and minister with many in our area of the city.SpecialtiesLynnhurst United Church of Christ is a progressive Christian community that seeks to offer compassion to ourselves, our community and the world.
