Central Middle School is a community school offering various learning opportunities to the students of Howard County in Indiana. The school enrolls more than 400 students and offers classes from kindergarten grades six through eight. It has a parent-teacher association that organizes and supports various school events and programs. It offers a wide range of subjects, including English, math, science, history, social science, world languages, visual and performing arts, agriculture, vocational education, business, consumer science, physical education, and elective programs in sciences. It also provides extracurricular and club activities, including spacelab, student council, bridges, mathcounts, Spanish and drama club, and music and art. Central Middle School additionally offers a variety of athletic programs, such as football, tennis, volleyball, golf, swimming, gymnastics, basketball, wrestling, indoor and outdoor track, soccer, and softball. Located in Kokoma, Ind., the school houses a fully equipped library, a media center and a computer lab.
