Owners Nick and Andrew Caplinger operated the 56th Street Fish Market from 1993 until closing in 2007. After a seven year hiatus Andrew and Courtney moved back home to Indianapolis from living in Virginia and North Carolina to join forces back with Nick to start Caplinger's Fresh Catch.

Our market specializes in high-quality, hard-to-find seafood, such as calamari steaks, king crab legs,lobster tails, scallops, alligator, smoked fish, specialty salads, plus a variety of shellfish and fresh fish. Dry goods, seasonings, dressings and marinades also are available. We offer a full menu of freshly prepared seafood in sandwiches or dinners. We make our sides and sauces in house. We get fresh seafood deliveries every day so call in your special order today.
