HistoryLooker Alarm Co. was founded in 1989 by myself, Eric Walls, as a subcontracting operation installing for larger alarm companies. This allowed me to pay the bills while slowly building my own account base. The acquisition of another small alarm company, Vawter Alarm Systems, allowed for additional growth. Most of my new business is acquired by referral from satisfied customers who appreciate my professional demeanor and conviction to fulfill their individual job requirements. My customers appreciate my punctual response to their service needs, as well as my attention to detail and respect for the home or business while installing the equipment. I am proud to say that my installed systems require very little service. While installing for other companies for many years, I learned that most clients were bound to their service provider by long term contracts and the installation of proprietary equipment. I viewed these strong-arm tactics as unacceptable. The customer should have the freedom to choose the service provider based on the provision of good service. Additionally, customers may have personal or financial situations that may force a cancellation of monitoring service.
