Alloy is a captivating art installation located in the new Lugar Plaza at the City County Building in Indianapolis, IN. Designed for the Sister Cities program, this project aims to connect people from different cultures and stimulate conversations by representing the diversity of cultures in the city through its exterior faces, while the inner skin symbolizes the global community brought together by the program.
Constructed using painted aluminum and stainless steel, Alloy features varying sized triangles that represent unique individuals, creating a unified gradient when viewed as a whole. Integrated lighting illuminates the piece at night, providing visitors with a different experience.
