Structural engineering is a field of engineering dealing with the analysis and design of structures that support or resist loads. Structural engineering is usually considered a specialty within civil engineering, but it can also be studied in its own right. We get State and Local Building Permits. A State Certified Engineer will analyze your new or existing buildings to insure they are acceptable structurally, electrically and with proper ventilation. We check snow load, wind load, earth quake loads. We combine these with floor loads, trolleys, winches, vibration lifts, even forklift impact as required by OSHA. NASA designed a process called “finite element modeling” to predict material failure. We use this process to determine the safe load level for maximum strength and minimum material.
