History

Zion is the oldest Christian church west of the Fox River in Elgin. Stared by Danish and Norwegian immigrants, Zion has always been a place for working people and new people. Today Zion is known for extensive community involvement, work in the schools, care for the hungry and homeless, and as a collaborative church who equips people to share in God's work and is willing to partner with others in the community who do good htings that we think make God smile.
