Based in Hanna City, Ill., Wildlife Prairie State Park is a zoological park that offers a variety of wildlife conservation, education and recreation options. Operational for more than 30 years, the park's facility features a gift store, snacks shop and cyber caf . It provides a range of nature theme programs with hands-on learning activities for children between the ages of 2 and 4. Wildlife Prairie State Park operates Boy Scout Saturdays, which is a program that includes structured curriculum for boy scouts to earn various merit badges. In addition, the park offers several school-based programs that are correlated to state learning standards in science. It provides environmental education internship programs for undergraduates, graduate students and college graduates. Wildlife Prairie State Park is operated by the Forest Park Foundation.
