The Wheaton Academy, founded in 1853, is a college preparatory, nondenominational Christian high school. The academy enrolls more than 630 students and is accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools. It offers advanced placement courses in English language and literature, calculus, chemistry and history. The school also offers Spanish and French language courses. Wheaton Academy provides Spanish and French language courses, as well as sessions in dance, theater and visual arts. It organizes a range of extracurricular and group activities. It is a member of the Illinois High School Association. The Wheaton Academy is located in West Chicago, Ill.
