Opened in the early 1970s, Wheatland Machine and Repair must be one of the oldest family businesses in the Naperville area. It's unique because it actually consists of three separate shops next to each other, and each one is operated by an Anderman brother. One shop specializes in the repair of machinery and metal products, such as steam engines and large boilers; the second one is for auto body work; and the third one handles the repair of small engines and motors, such as lawn mowers and small tractors. With these three mechanical geniuses anything broken can be fixed, even if there is no replacement part on the market. These brothers just build a new part. The shop is located in Wheatland Business Park in southern Naperville.
