Warren Achievement School was founded in 1961 in Monmouth, Ill. It offers intervention services for infants and children; residential homes and a sheltered workshop; community employment; respite services; and transportation for senior citizens, persons with disabilities and the general public. Warren Achievement Center provides opportunities for persons with developmental disabilities to learn and be active members of the community. Its staff is trained to assist in learning, recreation and independent living. The center offers management programs where the individual is evaluated to determine the level of disability and kind of services to be offered. It provides community employment services for individuals to meet the needs of the employer.
