The Memorial Park District manages several facilities, such as recreation centers, playgrounds, parks, swimming pools, tennis courts, meeting halls, football fields and a gymnasium. It also organizes adult fitness classes that include yoga, aerobics and womens body sculpting. The district s sewing classes offer the basics of pattern layout, fabric cutting and construction. Additionally, the district provides sports opportunities for youth, including dodgeball, karate, bowling, softball and soccer. The Memorial Park District also organizes summer camps that include sports, games, crafts, nature, movies and special events.
