Since 1996, the Valley View Educational Enrichment Foundation has awarded nearly $1 million in grants to fund educational opportunities for students in the Valley View School District. Each year, the foundation reviews grant applications submitted by parents, teachers, administrators and community groups requesting support for programs above and beyond those funded by the district. Grant requests are reviewed by foundation members and district administrators and must be approved by the board of education. Grant programs are supported by fundraisers, including an annual spring dinner, golf outing and a spelling bee.
