John G. Conyers Learning Academy is a learning center that specializes in general academic and special education programs for children in the age group from 3 to 5 years. The center offers early intervention and early childhood special education programs for children with learning disabilities. It provides occupational, physical, speech and language therapies. Its staff includes a nurse, psychologist, social worker and speech pathologist. John G. Conyers Learning Academy s general academic curriculum features English, math and science. The center also conducts Spanish language classes. In addition, it serves students with behavioral disorders in kindergarten through grade eight. It provides a range of services that includes guidance counseling, food, transportation and medical care.
