Union League Club of Chicago is a membership club in the political, economic and social arenas, focusing its leadership and resources on important social issues. Established in 1879, the 24-story clubhouse located in the heart of Chicago's downtown financial district, is a place to meet, socialize and enjoy fine food and service. The clubhouse is composed of guestrooms and suites, conference rooms, ballrooms, formal and informal dining rooms and lounges, a library, a health and fitness center, and a swimming pool. Special activities and cultural events are planned for members to meet, socialize and be entertained, enriched and informed, including theater outings, chamber music concerts and travel opportunities. Union League Club of Chicago has also amassed one of the nation's largest privately held art collections, containing paintings, sculpture and antiques.
