Tuesday's Child is a nonprofit organization established in 1981 at Children's Memorial Hospital by Dr. Victoria Lavigne, a clinical child psychologist, and Katherine Augustyn, an early childhood specialist. In 1984, Tuesday's Child was incorporated as a 501 c(3) nonprofit organization.

Behavioral Intervention Tuesday's Child helps families address behavioral issues through individualized training for both parents and children. Our evidence-based program centers on an individualized approach that enables our team to address each family's specific situation. We are the only service for parents that combines clinical expertise with peer-to-peer support. Parents who have been through the program are an integral part of our team. Their practical, day-to-day experiences enhance the techniques taught by our professional staff and provide families with a sense of comfort that they are not alone in their challenges. Additional Services Tuesday's Child offers additional services to community service organizations, families and children to assist them in addressing daily behavioral challenges including: - Classroom Intervention - Behavioral Summer Camp - Parent Support through the IEP Process - Ongoing Workshops & Support Groups
