History
In 1908, Edwin Toms & George Price opened the 1st Toms-Price furniture store on Wabash Ave. in Chicago which specialized in furniture handmade by local craftsmen. In 1940, Mr. Toms retired leaving the company to the Price family. In 1955, Edward Price moved the store to Wheaton where we provided the best in Colonial & traditional furniture. In 1997, David Price opened a 2nd store in Lincolnshire where we branched out to offer a variety of furniture styles, rugs & decorative accessories. Over the years, Toms Price Home has put more emphasis on interior design services - including lighting, window treatments, wall coverings, rugs & carpeting. Scott Price joined the company in 2003 & helped open stores in Bloomingdale, Skokie & South Barrington. In 2022, Toms Price Home opened a flagship store in Oak Brook. With furniture from 100+ top-of-the-line manufacturers, each store also has a premium rug studio, luxury mattresses & a design center where you can work with our exceptional designers!
