With 11 parks, a community center and four beaches, The Wildwood Park District on Gages Lake offers many amenities for local residents. It also has parks and playgrounds, ball fields and picnic pavilions. There is one beach along the shore of Valley Lake, in addition to three beaches on Gages Lake. Recreational programming is offered for all ages and ability levels. Classes include everything from arts to self-defense, gymnastics to golf, Shotokan karate to tennis, piano lessons to preschool classes and more.
