HistoryThe Irving Sisters came about through friendships built the way most are in the performance world: during downtime between rehearsals. The trio project developed out of a mutual love of 1930s and '40s music and an interest in stories about the singers who created that music.SpecialtiesThe vocal trio is available for birthdays, weddings, holiday parties, private & corporate events. They appear with a jazz combo, piano and/or a cappella. The three Irving Sisters are trained singers with degrees in music and a serious love of three-part harmony and jazz hands. They teach, they act, they sing opera, they sing cabaret. Mostly, they walk around with the tunes of the Andrews Sisters, the Boswell Sisters and the Chordettes bouncing around their heads, through their heels and into their microphone. Everything's better in threes, and these versatile ladies are proof.
