Leonard J. Brown founded his plumbing shop in 1946 in Park Ridge, a northwest suburb of Chicago. As the surrounding areas grew, so did Brown Plumbing, which became known for excellent customer service and innovative business management. The company thrived for decades under Leonard's capable hand, and he sold his business in 1990, after a long and successful career. Having built a reputation for first class workmanship and service, Leonard wanted to be sure his legacy was preserved. He sought a buyer with similar values, and he found one in The Bogot Companies, a group of mechanical and electrical contracting and service companies originally founded in 1945 by Herman Bogot. Herman shared Leonard's commitment to quality and customer service, and that commitment continues today under the leadership of his son, Scott Bogot. Plumbing was a natural addition to Bogot's existing businesses, so the sale was completed and The Bogot Companies relocated to Brown's headquarters in Park Ridge. The commercial service department was expanded to handle the new influx of Bogot customers, who appreciate having a single source for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing services. In addition, we have continued to upgrade our residential service capabilities ; our new "Super Trucks" carry far more inventory than typical vehicles, and our up front pricing system has been a big hit with customers, removing the "surprise" element. We are focused on customer service - it has been the cornerstone of our past success, and we know it holds the key to our future. Call L.J. Brown Service today, and enjoy a first-class service experience.
