Dance & Music Academy

Glenview's Dance & Music Academy wants to provide students of all ages with the skills they need to enjoy music and dance for a lifetime. Dance classes are taught on state-of-the-art floors that help reduce the risk of injury, and are offered year-round, including during summer camps. The Academy has several performance companies whose members give back to the Glenview community by performing at charity functions and fundraisers. Qualified, degreed music teachers provide private instruction to students of all ability levels for voice, piano, electric, acoustic and bass guitars, flute, saxophone, clarinet, trumpet and drums. Regular concerts and recitals provide students with the opportunity to share their talents and build confidence.

The Ballet Box

Founded in 2000 by a Lake in the Hills native, The Ballet Box is not just a dance studio, but a place for children to develop self-confidence and discipline. The school takes children aged preschool to eighth grade and features ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, modern, swing, and hip-hop. With small class sizes and non-competitive shows, children are able to comfortably develop into the dancer they were born to be.
