Stampede Meat specializes in custom-made beef and pork entrees. It offers more than 500 meat items, such as steaks, tenderloins, rolls, riblets, fajitas and carnitas. Founded in 1995, the company serves various foodservice chains, casinos, cruise lines, airlines and retail supermarkets. Its processing capabilities include flattening, molding, bisection, cooking, marinating and packaging. Stampede Meat, with a more than 14,000-square-foot facility in Bridgeview, Ill., also operates a processing facility in Oak Lawn, Ill. Additionally, the company operates various quality assurance and food safety programs that include raw material evaluations, sanitation, pest control, metal detection, weight control, organoleptic evaluations, preventative maintenance and microbiological testings. Stampede Meat employs more than 700 people.
