Located in the heart of downtown Skokie, St. Peter's Catholic Church is established as an official landmark. One of the first churches built in Skokie, it was founded at its current location in 1868 and rebuilt in 1894. The gorgeous church is located directly across the parking lot from its own school, St. Peters Catholic School, which offers instruction to students from pre-K through 8th grade. Led by the Rev. Michael A. Wulsch, the church is very involved with its congregation members and the community, holding events year-round. Visit the St. Peter's Web site to find out more about the institution.
