The Lisle Park District's Recreation Center is home to their administrative operations, as well as preschool and senior activities. Amenities include a front reception area, and multi-purpose rooms and a kitchen for parties, meetings, and other community activities. Six classrooms are reserved for preschool students, and come equipped with child-size bathrooms. The indoor play area, referred to as the gross motor area, is available for preschoolers prior to the erection of an outdoor playground in 2012. The play areas will also be available for private parties next year. The Park District board holds meetings at the Recreation Center on the third Thursday of each month at 7 p.m. Board members include president, Donald Cook, treasurer, Janis Kanzler, Margaret Hough, vice president, and commissioners, Tony Carballo and Debra Morse.
