South Elementary School is an educational institution that offers a range of academic and extracurricular programs for students in kindergarten through grade five. It provides classes in English, math, art and social studies for more than 500 students. The school also offers instruction in science, music, computer technology, physical education, dance and drama. South Elementary School maintains Supporters of South (SOS), which is a parent-teacher association that organizes school improvement monitoring meetings, as well as participates in various school activities, such as fundraisers, book fairs, field trips and equipment donation events. Additionally, the school features a store that sells pencils, tablets, pens and other school supplies for students.
