One of three Solomon Schecter Day Schools in Chicago, Solomon Schecter Day School in Skokie serves children in kindergarten through to the fifth grade. It focuses on teaching the practice of conservative Judaism and works with the community's rabbis, synagogues and youth organizations to achieve its goals.
The school has children enrolled from 13 Chicago and north shore suburbs. Some of the facilities inside include a full-sized gymnasium, art room, band room and computer lab.
