HistoryOur business originally opened in 2014 in my hometown, Roscoe, IL. We started out doing local flea markets in the area and soon outgrew our small showroom in 2016. We moved our location to downtown Rockford in the newly renovated Standard Building on State Street and now have a warehouse to keep bringing in hundreds of new finds every few months.SpecialtiesTique Furnishings specializes in unique furniture and home decor in downtown Rockford. Our furniture is sustainably sourced from the northern regions of India and Nepal through direct import. We work with a single source that is purchasing old estates and villas in rural areas to salvage and reclaim the exotic woods used in our furniture. Using hardwoods like Himalayan Teak, Indian Rosewood, and Mango wood, our pieces are stripped, refinished, and hand-produced into one-of-a-kind home furnishings.
