We opened August 29th, 2014 for reservations. Roberts' Roost Country Guest House is conveniently located six minutes from downtown Savanna and six miles from historic Mt. Carroll, Illinois. Only three tenths of a mile off Hwy. 52 and 64, Roberts' Roost is the ideal location for your secluded country getaway. It is the perfect place for a family to spend quality time together away from the hustle of everyday living. Located just minutes away from the Upper Mississippi River National Wildlife and Fish Refuge and Palisades State Park, it is the perfect place to spend the weekend with nature. Surrounded by flower beds and bird feeders, Roberts' Roost is a birder's delight. Hiking or biking the Great River Trail is also just minutes, away along with fishing and boating the Mississippi River. You can also spend the day visiting the quaint shops in historic Mt. Carroll. Galena, Illinois is only forty-five minutes away. There is something of interest for everyone in Carroll County.

Roberts' Roost features two bedrooms, living room and dining room combination, complete kitchen and one bathroom, nestled among the many perennial and annual flower beds, encompassing the 1/3rd acre yard. Have you ever wanted to experience the quiet, secluded, country life? Roberts' Roost offers tranquil days, peaceful nights and nature's serenity in abundance at 12143B Roberts Rd. in Savanna Il. Roberts' Roost Country Guest House features ground level access, no stairs to carry your suitcases up, except for one entrance step into the house, and no sharing of the facility. Roberts' Roost Country Guest House is rented to only one person, couple or family at a time. Ingredients for a full country breakfast is included in the stocked refrigerator: sausage, bacon, farm fresh eggs, hash browns, toast and jellies, butter, milk, will be in the fridge and freezer awaiting your arrival. Coffee, selected teas, and bottled water is also available. Homemade muffins and chocolate chip cookies are also at hand to satisfy your sweet tooth cravings (if advance reservations are made more than 48 before arrival).
