SpecialtiesI have experience providing therapy to children and adolescents from 8 to 17 years old in community mental health centers. My collaborative approach incorporates the entire family as a healing agent in a child's life. My strengths include adapting to a broad spectrum of individuals and identifying ways to help them progress. I believe in your mind and bodies ability to heal and bring you closer to health and wholeness. I hold an MS in Applied Child and Family Studies with a Specialization in Marriage and Family Therapy from Northern Illinois University. In addition to youth, I have extensive experience working with adults and couples. Specialties include communication problems, trauma/attachment trauma, divorce, family conflict, depression, anxiety, and marital issues. My specialties with school age clients include inattention, hyperactivity, impulsivity, anger and disruptive behavior. I also work with adults and couples to meet enhance intimacy and communication. I have also expanded my training in Attachment Focused EMDR which helps people to overcome trauma of shapes and sizes.
