History

Record Swap started in the Chicago suburbs in 1977. We opened our second store in 1979 in Champaign, Illinois. We spent 20 years in Campustown and moved off campus in 1999. We have been on University Ave. in Champaign since 2008.

Specialties

We specialize in having a deep stock in used lps, cds, and cassettes. We also have new lps, posters, stickers, buttons and used dvds and blurays. Lots of Jazz, Blues, Folk, Reggae, African, Soundtracks, Soul, International and of course Rock.
